about

In spring she opens her curtains, looking towards an abundance of color, all in life’s honor.

The summer is present, her head adorned by a radiating crescent.
She smiles and dances through a blooming meadow,
where the sun never casts a shadow.

When autumn falls, so do the leaves from the trees,
still standing,
with wilting flowers in her hand; a reminder to the passing of time

The winter snow is seen from her window.
Looking inwards to an abundance of white,
Time still passes, although it goes slow, in these days of diminishing light,

This was the last song we finished writing and is exemplary of our process.

Four years before recording this version, our aim was to write a happy song. Although, we were never quite happy with what it was and often felt at unease when playing it. After a long struggle changing riffs, melodies, and structures, we stripped the song of all its unnecessary complexities and found this; a song that makes us happy when playing it.
